Hartwood Acres – The Park

Hartwood is an Allegheny County Park that consists of 629 acres. Preserved within the park is one of the largest and most spectacular country estates in the region.

Hartwood is an equestrian estate built on a crest overlooking the rolling foothills of the Allegheny Mountains, and consists of a stately Tudor Mansion, a stable complex, and a gate lodge designed by Alfred Hopkins for John and Mary Flinn Lawrence.
